We are looking for an Online Sales Manager to join our team. This role will work closely with our dedicated Online Manager to oversee our online store and drive sales performance. While experience is valued, we welcome applications from those who have studied in a related field or are new to the industry, including juniors and recent graduates. 

You will collaborate closely with other departments, including Brand, Marketing and Web Developers, to build robust online strategies, improve performance and drive ongoing innovation for the overall e-commerce experience.

You will work with systems including Shopify, Shopify POS, Klayvio, Apparel 21, Trello and other plug-ins and integrations.

Key Duties & Activities:

Sales Management:

  • Meet daily and monthly sales budgets, ensuring continuous year-over-year growth.

  • Monitor hourly budgets, flagging any dips in trade.

  • Drive daily sales through creative campaigns, spot sales, and activations.

  • Utilise Shopify, Ap21, Excel, and Google Sheets effectively.

  • Conduct daily scrums with branded marketing, graphics, logistics, and customer service teams via Trello and Google Chat.

  • Analyse KPIs and produce reports to understand sales trends.

  • Improve website aesthetics to enhance creativity and diversity.

  • Check Google and Shopify Analytics daily to track performance metrics.

  • Regularly assess best/worst sellers and merchandise accordingly.

  • Produce reports on poor online sales and initiate corrective actions.

  • Ensure proper link and navigation integrity and work with the Google team on-site links.

  • Regularly update terms and conditions, pricing, markdowns, and discount codes.

  • Monitor competitor promotional activities.

Customer Service Management:

  • Provide unparalleled service to every customer regarding orders and inquiries.

  • Uphold a high professional standard within your team.

  • Ensure quick responses to phone calls and timely email management.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Tidio and the refund/gift card/exchange processes.

  • Ensure daily and accurate handling of refunds and credit notes.

Content Management:

  • Collaborate with the uploading team to maintain content quality and product integrity.

  • Ensure stock updates align with deliveries and store inventory.

  • Manage daily upsells and maintain a zero backlog.

  • Refresh imagery and campaigns regularly in accordance with store standards.

  • Communicate effectively with the photography team to manage product shots.

  • Develop processes to ensure prompt system updates before store deliveries.

  • Work with marketing graphics to keep social media content current.

  • Refresh and merchandise the site daily based on sales and marketing activations.

  • Maintain accurate stock inventory to minimise refunds.

  • Oversee weekly consolidation processes and execute sale drives.

Analytics Management:

  • Review Google Analytics daily to track key performance indicators.

  • Analyse traffic sources to optimise revenue and conversion rates.

  • Generate weekly EDM reports and collaborate on effective marketing campaigns.

  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to enhance reach and conversion strategies.

  • Complete branded sales reports weekly and analyse past promotions for future decision-making.

  • Ensure accuracy in Klavyo email flows according to customer activity.

About you:

  • Experience with Shopify for store management and fulfilment is highly regarded. 

  • Strong sales-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.

  • A strong understanding of Excel and data analysis.

  • Focused on delivering excellent customer experiences.

  • An excellent communicator, adaptable, and deadline-driven.

  • Has knowledge of retail industry trends and an understanding of consumer behaviour. 

  • Can build productive cross-functional relationships and thrives in teamwork.
