We seek an experienced textile designer to work with our team at our head office in Abbotsford. You will use hand-drawn and digital artwork techniques along with your expertise in repeat and yardage prints. Your deep understanding of garment printing techniques, inks, and finishes to deliver high-quality and innovative textile designs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in the following:

  • Creating original artwork using digital, painted and hand-drawn techniques for placement, yardage and border prints 
  • Repeat and yardage print competence 
  • Understanding of garment printing techniques/inks/finishes
  • Strike off approvals and comments to suppliers
  • Preparation of print specs and scales for the supplier. 
  • Preparing artwork for production and screenprinting. 
  • An excellent creative drive so concepts can be put forth and materialised
  • Working with designers & textile team to follow print briefs & feedback.
  • An understanding of the importance of other artists' intellectual property & the ability to create unique artwork with a distinct point of difference to inspiration/briefs.
  • Contribute to print concept research, trend forecasting and creation of print mood boards.
  • Working to a seasonal timeline and critical path.

  • Able to effectively manage and meet tight deadlines 
  • Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and computer-aided drawing 
  • Bachelor of Textile Design 
  • 3-5 years of industry experience

This role is based on-site and is a full-time position of 38 hours per week at our Head Office in Abbotsford. No hybrid or remote work options.
